The current bid over $100k is from an ebay member since 1998 and 394 positive feedbacks (2 negatives from long ago). Kinda freaky. I think the future is *wanting* to get sued by Fortune500 companies.

The bid is back down to about $200,000. But take a look at the bidding history - there have been 15 bid retractions, and a few bids cancelled by the seller.

I agree, once bidding hits the high six figures, most bids tend to be fraudulent. Very few sellers with auctions that high actually get the cash in hand. And once the press gets a hold of it, fraudulent bids seem to increase exponentially.
