How to integrate gds in a webfront

hi,
Does anyone here run a travel website offering an airline booking and/or other GDS services ..From what i have gathered so far I can't understand whether the information is for free , whether any licenses are required to sell and how the comissions are dsitributes in such a case ...No i am not talking of expedia affilitates ... (42 per booking whoa!) Anyinfo would be greatly appreciated ..if possible also sticky me the urls for reference.

There's actually a handful of GDSs (global distribition systems). Sabre and Galileo are the two I know of offhand. These are the systems used by travel agents and I'm pretty sure you have to be accredited to use them.

Then there are other companies, such as Pegasus, that provide connections and distribution of GDS data. And this doesn't come on the cheap, it's pricey. And again, you have to be accredited to receive commissions.
