Identifying Search Engine Visits

Is there a way to identify when a page visit is a search engine/similar "bot". We are having a large problem with completion percentages on an inquiry page. We have went from 20% to 5% in less than a year. I want a way to be able to tell how many of these visits are actual physical bodies and how many are "crawler" visits.

what sort of server are you running?
do you have server logs?
this should be a pretty easy thing to see.

I want to be able to do this automatically, IE...using ASP to complete the process. Otherwise, it has to be done via livestats.
