MSFT Excel Issue

Need to remove duplicate sells

Ok, I am going through a category list, and they are thousands of duplicate cells that I need to get rid of. Is ther a way to remove the duplicate cells from Excel (or any other program)?

1. Import the list into Access
2. Create a query selecting all from the imported list
3. Group the list by category name

Use Data->Filter and check "Unique Records Only"
