What is the cheapest/easiest/best way to have the other three domains redirect to widgetwadget.com?
Do each of them need there own hosting plans with redirects? Or should a hosting plan with multiple domains?

301 server side redirect

Depends on the webhost (I don't charge my clients for domains on 301 redirects, but I don't keep logs for those free redirect domains either)

Pointing multiple domain names to main site without mirrors
How to do this without hosting them separately and using 301s?

graywolf - Read the whole thread.... It gets kind of involved.
Free forwarding from a domain registrar like GoDaddy will be a cheap & easy solution.
This is not the best solution, the best solution is multiple sites with different content....but that is a whole new ball game ;)

percentages - Would you elaborate on this just a bit. I'm assuming, if they can do this for free, they must have a whole bunch of domains sharing the same IP which they redirect with 301s. Will they do this for domains bought elsewhere, and, if so, what's the deal?

We should make one thing clear for anyone who wanders across this thread... that it is never a good idea to have mirrors, ie, the same sites showing up on different domains. If you're going to use multiple domains, they should all redirect to the one with the content. I know from graywolf's post that he knows this, but I can imagine newbies who might not. The question is asked a lot.
