finding info on an ip range

I suspect a member of one of my sites has joined under several guises - each account comes from the same IP address. Is there any way of checking whether it belongs in a range owned by, say a major ISP - in which case it might not be the guy at the same computer?

Try doing an NSLOOKUP or TraceRoute on it. If you don't have this on your machine, there is a site called network-tools t hat has an online version that you can use.
