Once the basics are in place, do some of you have more tips to share?
We are using, as are most, I presume, some of the obvious ones like:
-Filename, Title, Description and Keyword Relevancy to Page Body Text and Alt Tags.
-Doorway/Bridge Pages dialed in to specific search term combinations.
-Links from other sites to target site.
-E-Mail Newsletters/E-Zine.
-Usenet/Newsgroup Marketing (Have not really done this, labor intensive)
For better or worse, we are not having bad success so far. But I ask because some of the tricks I have heard about that we are not using (i.e., script keyword generators, comment tags) were of dubious value.
Ideas about these and others that you don't mind sharing would be appreciated.

It will take some time, like farmers planting seeds in the spring, it will eventually pay off with a harvest down the road. The content work you do this spring will pay off in late fall and early winter. Now is the time to plan for xmas 2000.
Script generators are out for good I believe. SE's are creating sophisticated algo's to detect such spamming. Comment tags don't do much good anymore - the only place they ever worked was Lycos and those days are gone.
