How to deactivate Group settings in Win XP

I use Windows XP OS on one of my machine and I would like to know if there is any option/setting to change the default way in which the groups are displayed. By groups, I mean when I open 5 browser windows they appear together in one group and not next to each other as like in the previous versions.

Anyway I could set them to display next to each other and not under groups.

Yep,
Right click on the start button - select properties.

Click on the taskbar tab and uncheck
"Group similar taskbar buttons"
