irritating blink on word/notetab

accidently pressed insert

While typing on Notetab I accidently pressed on either End, Insert or a combination of a few buttons in between the Enter key & the Numlock keypads.
Now whenever I open a new document it has that irritating blinking vertical pipe that awaits your input. How do you uncheck it, previously the vertical bar wasnt blinking though.

If I'm not mistaken, you can just press the Insert key again (assuming that's what you hit in the first place).

At least that's how it works in EditPad . . .

I tried those buttons again after the incident but to no avail. If I cant find the solution then I'll have to get use to that irritating blink. :(
