Hello
How do you handle such a task (if possible?)
words can be filtered but when tweaked "a la spam"
it does not really works
and img that's a big problem

While I haven't built a public demo I think I would prefer to require the user register first. I'd check the info and then give them access. It's no guarantee they won't abuse it but at least they'll think twice.

I think you are correct
at least the potential user will show some real interest
and if email and a real business name hold then offer the demo
my clients and new target for that demo are only establsihed businesses or new businesses but one never know who's lurking at your door :)

in addition set a cron job to delete from DB and reload default
that might help

It'd have to be an extraordinarily strong presentation to get me to ask for demo registration. I've seen several that announce they will reset the demo to defaults on a cron. That kills the incentive to spam and clears any problems if they do.
