Getting all kinds of catalog requests from Russia?

I have a web site that I've set up that has a catalog request form for visitors to fill out. The form then sends me an email when it has been filled out successfully. I've had the site up and running for over a year and just in the last 2 days I've gotten over 10 requests from the Ukraine, Russia, and Romania. Any thoughts on this? I know there's been problems with forms being autofilled and companys have gone to requiring an additional step of filling in a number/letter combination from a random graphic that displays on the page (ie Network Solutions etc.).

Thanks,
Kevin

scam artists - usually.

I won't ship to Russia, Romania or the Ukraine, not even if they send me a check. Be very careful with these countries, 99.9999% of all orders from these countries will be fraud related.

I could be way off base here, but I noticed a large influx of sample requests from Russia, then as suddenly as they started, they stopped.

My take, someone found my site, then spread the URL among their friends in a newsgroup or by email. Once the novelty of the new site wore off, they moved on to your site :)

Oh, we didn't send any samples either.

Thanks grandpa and KevinC. I've been getting about 5 to 10 a day. I won't be sending any catalogs to them. Boy, it must be really cold and really boring over there that doing this to my site substitutes as fun.
