I have given up trying to make money on Google adwords. So now I registered with 29 survey sites. (It cost $35 for the list! ) But I think they are another scam. WHat do you know about them? They send out feeler surveys to see if you are exactly what they have in mind, i.e. specific race, salary, etc. They ask too many personal questions then say I do not qualify for that particular survey. WHat do you think? Their ads say you can make $10 each or $500-1500 per month.

Just a cynical guess, but perhaps you've gone and paid to provide an extremely accurate profile of yourself, which in turn will be sold to others.

Whether the company you've engaged is on the up and up or whether you're simply painting a nice bright target on yourself via the surveys of the prospective surveyors, I don't have a clue. But I'm feeling frisky today, and if I were to lay a bet, I'd be betting on the latter.

No list of survey sites is worth that much, you could probably have found them all yourself using search engines. As for the sites themselves, it's a good idea to check some of the consumer review sites, they will usually have several reports about paid-for surveying. This should give you an idea of which ones are likely to pay up and send you regular surveys, and which are probably scams.

The only one I ever bothered to signup with (on someone's recomedation) was Survey Spot. They don't barrage you with surveys and they do actually have some that pay. It's not a fortune though and for every survey you get paid for there are about 5 others that only offer you an entry in a drawing.

This is not an endorsement of this company, just an honest example, I would be very leary of any survey company frankly. I think I just got lucky.

Thanks for your answers. I tried to find these sites thru search engines but they were not there. Must be planned that way! I hope you are wrong that I am now a target. It's the last thing I would want to be. Who knows, maybe I'll make money someday, some way on-line! Let's hope. I'll keep trying.
