Is there a site that has statistics of internet traffic over a U.S. calendar year?

I have been running an ecommerce website for about 12 months. I have noticed we get the least traffic on Friday and the most of both Sunday and Wednesday. Also traffic seems to drop at least ~10 to 20% in public holidays.

I do understand the statistics may vary depending on the nature of the website. It would be very helpful in development if there is some sort of official statistics of the internet traffic available.

Don't know of any reliable outside measure - as you said, it will vary based on site, audience, and products.
