Hi,

Im trying to create a 301 redirect in the .htaccess for specific pages but cannot seem to get it to work. I have a canonical 301 in place that works fine.

I am using the Drupal cms platform and after searching online for answers on how to do this, each time I implement the code suggested I get a 500 internal server error usually.

Can anyone shed any light on the situation? Where do I place the code? and how should it be written?

Thank you

a 500 response means you should have a message in your server error log that should provide a more specific clue to the problem.

What code did you use?

What was it supposed to do?

What did it actually do?

How did that differ from what you wanted?

Without any of those answers, all I can say is "redirects go in your .htaccess file".
