Been lurking, but have a question to ask this evening.

I found this in my search string section. What would someone be looking for with it? Thx for any help.

content * -htm -html -php site:us

*= my #1 keyword

Also, if any good links to maximizing my understanding of my statistics from my host.

Hello Zonie, Welcome to WebmasterWorld.

It wasn't me, so just a guess. Maybe this person was looking for files with extensions like '.doc' , '.pdf' and decided to exclude '.htm', '.html' and '.php' files. The 'site:us' restrict the search to domains with a 'us' ccTLD (country code Top-Level Domain). A lot of '.com' domains are not in the US or US related. So this person might have thought that adding 'site:us' would help to get info from an American page.

takagi,

Thanks for the welcome and the help. I guess I'm just being a little protective of my site and wondering what this person was trying to find. Probably not malicious, but...
