Free gift for our subscribers - any ideas?

Need to offer a freebie to encourage people to subscribe

We're offering free software in assocation with our company to encourage people to subscribe our ezine. However, we can only do this for the North American edition, as our company only ships to the US, Canada and Mexico.

Any suggestions on what freebie we could offer for European subscribers? Obviously, it shouldn't be something commonly available or known about (such as "a free subscription to Hotmail"!)...

Our ezine is a literary one.

Could you offer the software as a choice of download or cd, with only download being available to European subscribers? ...or allow them to have the choice of download or pay for shipping to Europe. It would look good as an option, even if no one chooses it. :)
