Usually when I create a web page, I use a graphic program and then slice it up into small pieces, then export to html. Well, I just did one and for some reason the page is loading, what seems to be cell by cell images one at a time? Not sure wht this is? Can anyone give me some suggestions? Yep, it loads oddly alright. I glanced at the source code... I'd guess it's a javascript problem, although I'm not at all sure on that. Why don't you try the Javascript forum, forum91?

A site I did using slicing a few years back had a lengthy load time. Your code consists solely of images, probably about 50. It may be that there are simply too many.

I found with slicing, I circumvent the background images by using the CSS position attribute to arrange just the foreground slices. For example, recently I did a page with a banner and an image in the right margin. I cut out 2 slices forming a sort of "T-square". Then, I inserted them as 2 separate gif images in the code, ignoring the surrounding slices.

gafoosball, you could acheive the look you have there without needing all those slices. Ive found Fireworks slices usually load like they are on your page.
