HELP! I'd appreciate any input on my problem. Here goes!

About 4-6 weeks ago I added about 250 pages to my site (which had about 40-50 pages before adding the 250). Each of these pages sells the same thing, but is geared for individual countries. So the format and the text are the same other than the country name (repeated about 15 times) adn the unique price for each item. ALSO, 2 weeks ago I finished switching my entire site from html to shtml.

After Update Florida, my index page has gone from a PR5 to a PR4 and all the remaining pages (approx. 300) have a PR0. Is this a good sign that my 250 pages(perhaps called duplicate pages, not sure about this) have a PR0 as opposed to a gray bar? Also, is it the fact that I have a so many pages with a PR0 what is messing up my rankings? My index page is nowhere to be found under my main keywords.

PLEASE HELP! Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

usavetele, the Update Florida is in no way complete, so don't worry about your index page not showing up in the SERPS until the update is complete... which could take a few more days. Many others have also had their index page go missing from the SERPS, so don't worry yet.

Your index page probably dropped due to less incoming links, or perhaps your internal linking structure changed your index's PR from 5 to 4.

Also, new pages have a 0 PR assigned to them initially until Google calculates it. Although, you may be messing with the GoogleGods with so much duplicate-content and little unique content on these 250 pages...
