Morning everyone :)

I am trying to export my contacts in Outlook to an Excel file, I have done this countless times before with no problems.

It is now telling me that it can not find the ISAM file and that it cant find an installable ISAM file.

Anyone know what it could mean and why it would happen?

ISAM - Indexed Sequential Access Method files

Like you, I have no idea why Outlook would be looking for it. The export should be quick and painless - but you already know that.

Have you hooked Outlook up to some sort of SQL database? Or is your computer looking for an ISAM file instead of going to Excel - I'm at a loss as to which side of the export the error is coming on...Have you tried a different type of export (rather than Excel) to see if the problem is coming from Outlook or Excel?
