anybody tell me a quick and easy way to set up a multi user password protected are, security does not need to be tight!

Depends on here is the directory. Please specify if it's Internet, extranet, intranet. The platform could be a good thing to know too.

If it's a Windows/IIS host you can do it easily using ASP (sticky me and I'll send you the code to do that). If it's not, I dunno. Yet.
