Looking to build a classified jobsite ... can anyone recommend a script I should check out. Seen anywhere from $99 to $10,000+ ... ideally MSQL + PHP but will consider any if theyre that good.

Thanks,

jobvertise.com is free, customizable and you get distribution on other sites.

I've spoken to the SearchEase folks who run www.jobboardsoftware.com , lite.searchease.com and other sites, and they gave me all the right answers to my questions. I didn't use them because I didn't use anybody's solution, but after investigating what was out there, they seemed to have the best combination of price and features.

There used to be a Dmoz category for job posting/board software, maybe [directory.google.com...] is what I'm remembering. What's weird is that SearchEase has moved out of that part of the directory, so maybe there's a competitor running that Dmoz category (or they moved themselves). Anywho, Dmoz throws together the recruitment solution and job board software sites, so you have to determine which of those are what you're looking for.

Just look around some scripts directories. i was also looking for a job management script and did investivate a few. But yet to decide which one to go with.

There are quite a few in the market, though, you may not get all the aspects/features you want in one script, might want to mix and match or develop custom modules for that script in the later stages.

Good luck
