FYI

Just a note for those who use spamcop.net to filter their mail. Our DNS server is not returning info from their zone file this morning. Last time I saw their webmail page, it said that their registration company had messed something up. Should be fixed in the next DNS update later today.

What exactly does this mean?

I use them to filter all my email. Am I going to loose some important e-mail?

I am in the middle of discussing something with my new client for big money, don't want to miss out on that one. :(

Probably yes, the mail will be returned to the sender until this is fixed. At least all of our mail was being returned this morning before we discovered what was going on.

I have this problem with spamcop today, realised I was not getting emails.

Simplist thing to do to solve it is to cut out spamcop leg of your emails and route them direct till the problem is sorted.

Shows you how difficult it is to converse with a Domain Registrar like Joker

I just checked and the DNS is still wrong @ midnight CST. Wow, this is a problem for them.

Problem for me too. I had got used to a spam free email box, today, having by-passed SpamCop, and let emails come direct, I am back to the 100's of spam a day :(
