Free Brinkster web-hosting accounts are now showing adverts. I always wondered how Brinkster could justify their free ASP pages - they obviously need to generate a bit of income now they are so popular.

Even though there's a close button at the botton of the skyscraper panel, it still messes up all of my pages design.

A fast solution would be to add the following onLoad event

<body onLoad="clA(adId);">

.. Unfortunately it does not completely solve the problem as:
1. The advert loads and it dissappears only when the page loads completely.
2. The page loads a bit slower than usual now with the adverts so on a 56K modem the advert will appear for more than 5-6 seconds

But at least your page when completely loaded , does not have an advert... without the visitor to have to press anything.
