Does anyone else have this problem. I have upgraded the memory to 512 and my cpu is 2.4 gigs. This is driving me crazy, it takes up to a minute just to delete text.
Thanks for your help.

Sorry, don't know your specific problem, but maybe reinstalling Dreamweaver will fix the problem?
To save all your Dreamweaver settings, use DW-exporter (do a search on google for it).

1-enter task manager when problem and check cpu performance , memory utilization and other processes sucking cpu. 2-check pagefile.sys size - virtual memory management 3-check if your 512mb are correctly counted. 4-if above ok reinstall dreamweaver

Running your site on a remote connection/DB can make deleting text, etc. painfully slow.

Which version of Dreamweaver? Dreamweaver MX2004 creates a cache automatically and this sucks a lot of cpu strength. Go into each managed site and uncheck the cache. I did this the app works fine now.

Thanks for the tips. I have unchecked Cache and I am hoping this will resolve the issue. It is only one of the sites I am working on causes this problem. Oh, by the way, I was referred to this site yesterday when someone posted an email to our site stating that they were talking about us on this forum. I am the website marketing manager for a Mesothelioma Law Firm, which is the highest paid word on the internet at $100 per click. I just got our site to the #1 listed sight on Google and many other search engines, but it was a lot of work especially in such a competitive marketplace.
