I want to disable other sites hotlinking to my mp3s , is there a way either than .htaccess? coz it didnt work good

ppl when they left click it disables downloading but when they save target as it works normally

This is a different scenario than "hot-linking" - if you don't want people to right-click and save as, don't make the files available on the web ;)

Then you need to block internal .mp3 links from all Remote Hosts - check the many apache rewrite postings on this site to start with.
