Having Problems with CDonts

I have a form on my site that people can enter their last name and email address and their password is emailed to them using CDonts.

The problem is if the person has an extra period in their email address like

john.smith@usa.edu

I get the following error when the form is submitted.

Type mismatch: 'MyCDONTSMail.to'

Any ideas?

Thanks.

not totally sure... but unless there's a patch for that, cdonts won't let that happen. i would suggest an alternative mail sender. JMail is free.

Matt is totally correct... you can try aspmail by persits, I have had to use it at work, and now that I'm used to it, it's not really that bad! unless your host won't install the component for you...
