Greeting all,

Well uploaded a site 2 days ago and have only been able to view the site by accident. When I go to the url I keep getting the godaddy domain name free parking place holder or sometimes it just get a blank page. Now I know the domain has been transfered and the site is working. The site owner who is out of state can see it and others can see it, but I can't and I need to get in there to make changes. I have clear all cookies, history, rebooted, ran disk cleanup, ran scan disk, re-installed ie6, called godaddy who reconmmended I usa a proxy however, I shouldn't have to use a proxy I have a cable connection. This is the second time I've used the oscommerce website both sites are being hosted by the same host there's no problem viewing the other site and I've compared the config files of both all look good there. I know it's my machine but can't find whats wrong. I'm stumped on this one please HELP.

Well I just found out that if I type in the host address such as [host1234.hostname...]
I get there. What is going on here?

That would be my thought too. Did you just recently point the domain to that IP? Sounds like your ISP might be behind the ball updating their DNS records.

As you guessed it is a isp issue and here is how it was fixed.

click start go to run type in c:
at c prompt type ipconfig /flushdns

yes that is a space between g /

I hope this help anyone else who may get stuck in a isp dns problem.

You were asked to type that in on the host computer? Or your computer?
