Hi,

I would like to import the internet history from another computer to my computer. Are there any good softwares which would allow me to do so.

I also know that there is a software called as "history inspector" which also allows to retrieve 6 months old lost history. <http://www.wbaudisch.de/Homepage.htm>

Please let me know if you know and have worked with any such wonderful sofwares.

One way to do it would just be to export it to a file and copy it to disk...

Under IE6/XP, History seems to be stored in:

C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Local Settings\History

If you navigate to:

C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Local Settings\

and right-click the History folder, there is the option to send the folder to a compressed file.

If you do that, you _might_ be able to uncompress the file into the same place on the other computer.

Try it at your own risk, not sure if it will work.
