Nameserver Propagation Problems

After 2 weeks nameservers still not propagated!

I have assigned a .com as nameservers for a new server I have purchased.
The .com has previously been used and assigned to "other" nameservers.

After 2 weeks, there are still quite a few registrars pointing to the old nameservers and therefore quite a few of my customers have complained that they cannot see my sites!

I am currently setting up completely new nameservers, on a new domain, which hopefully will resolve the problem.

My questions (after a lot of blurb - sorry folks!) are:
1) Is there any way I can scan all the registrars to find out which ones have not updated their records.
2) Is there a mechanism for letting them know their records are outdated and if so how long does it take?

short answer is NO, you have to wait for the TTL (time to live) records to expire.
