Hi,

I have a very good friend in Canada who runs a hosting and online merchant business. Somehow one of the competitor got unhappy and also got out of hand by hacking into from friend host by hiring temp russians using brute force and dictionary attack. All scripts are picked up and in other words they think they have proof.

However the Royal Police of Canada obviously seem to be very unhelpful. My friend were complaining that they cannot understand the nature of computer crime beside scam and fraud.

Could someone care to share how to deal with this matter the best way?

thanks

the rcmp have an internet crime division that your friend could deal with, they understand what's what

it may depend on th province they live in, Ontario and Quebec have provincial police who may also deal with that
