Hey,

I recently installed Spybot. I loved it, but it was blocking a lot of pages such as cj.com, linkshare.com, and a few others. I thought that I fixed it in spybot, but ended up having to completely remove it.

It's gone now, but the settings are still in place. I can't edit my homepage in internet exlporer, and i still can't resolve cj.com, and ads are still be blocked.

anytging I can do?

Thanks!

Zak

i suspect you need to open:
c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
in notepad or similar, and remove everything but:
127.0.0.1 localhost

Thanks for the reply, and that is right. I can see everything that is being blocked, but it wont allow me to save over it. "File is read only". Anyway I can change the permissions on it? It won't allow me to in properties, doesn't give me an option to.

Thanks!
