Getting the physial address from an IP address

hi,
i operate an eshop.

over the past few weeks someone has, on a daily basis, been clearing out (using the PO/cheque payment option)certain products - wthout paying of course.

i have tried over stocking.

i have obtained the IP address, the associated ISP & the area trace.

has anyone any experience of this? - can i approach the ISP? - is there any service that will find the actual phyical address not just the area?

The simplest solution is to require a telephone number (fixed-line, not a mobile) when paying by these methods.
