Hello

I am about to work on a largish site (well larger than I am accustomed to anyway)

I am looking for a tool or online resource by which I can rapidly develop and edit a navigational structure that uses drop down menus for informational architecture purposes

Does anybody know of any tools that would be useful?

many thanks

Dale

Interesting question and I can't help with the answer I'm afraid, but I can bump the thread for you.

Anyone?

Dale..

Here's some resources that I hope will help you to clarify your thinking on exactly what type of Information Architecture will match your project needs and goals...

NOTE: I am not affiliated with these folks in anyway..
I am simply pointing out resources I dug up based on Dale's post..

Navigational Models
[blackartofwebpublishing.com]

Navigational Models for Web Sites
[webdesignfromscratch.com]

From there you can research:

Accessible Web Applications
[w3.org]

Here's a resource that is a tutorial on the Javascript DOM model...and offers some nice coding examples along the way:

Found something interesting that answers many calls

Follow decaff last link

find a link on: "Details to get browsers for testing"
it leads to an area where any type of modern or almmost antic browsers are ready for d-laod

Would that be the evolt Web Browser Archive [browsers.evolt.org]? I won't link directly to it, but it really should be on the "good list" at WebmasterWorld.

Thanks for the excellent links!

[update]The heck with it. I'll link it. The mods can scrag it if they want.[/update]
