I was wondering if anyone had experience with PDF files inside of iframes..

We have a situation where we have a bunch of 4 page catalogs as PDFs. We are trying to get things up quickly. I'd like to simply link to the pdf files for now. The problem is navigation once a pdf loads.

My experience with ie7 is that new windows take a long time to load. I'm thinking that I might be able to control things a little better with the iframe.

Thanks for any thoughts...

Not all browsers load PDFs in-line so you're going to have to make different solutions depending on what the user is browsing with. An iframe probably wouldn't be the perfect solution.

You can add links and navigation within PDF documents themselves. That might be easier to work with.

Thanks for the thoughts. I hadn't thought about adding links and navigation to the PDF docs. It will probably work very well in this case...

again, thanks
