I've been going through my income and the bulk of my income comes in during November and December each year. Since the majority of my income is advertising and affiliate based, is this normal?

It depends on what you are advertising. Sounds like you are advertising Christmas gifts. ;)

If your affiliate income involves things that could be bought as Christmas gifts (which includes just about any product or service imaginable!), it would be completely normal. I don't know enough about the advertising part of it to comment on that.
