I've got a content site up and running, its got articles relating to a certain topic which I'm familiar with, I have about 40 articles on this site and I run adsense as revenue. I started the website about 8 months ago and I've only actually worked on the site for about 4 - 5 months - I became lazy until now.

Anyway, Since I started the site less then one year ago I've made roughly $130US. I hope to increase this number which brings me to my question...

According to Adsense I roughly get just under 1000 page views a week, all of the visitors come from the top search engines.

So should I just focus on writing more content instead of focusing on a specific keywords SEO? Because all my visitors come to my site by random phrases relating to my topic etc...

Thanks all!

Look at what search terms people are using when they find your site and write a perfect reply to their question.

There's a service called hittail. The domain name is obvious. You put some js on your site and they make recommendations on what you should write on, with intent to work out what keywords you should develop more content around.
I've played with it a little, but not enough to develop a firm opinion. Might be worth a shot.
