Today a costumer told me he couldn't fill my form, I though he surely wasn't filling required fields, but then got a nasty surprise: junkeater com service was down.
Their site is down but the worst part is they seem to be discontinuing the service.

They used to give a captcha code for forms, and I have all my forms in several sites using it.

Result: none works.

Does anybody knows anything abouth Junkeater future?
Anybody can recommend a quick replacement?

Here you go. It's for sale

From a cached page of March 27

Junkeater has been too successful. The amount of spam we are seeing from our users has exploded way beyond our expectations.
We have continuously adjusted our script to block the worst offenders from using valuable server resources, but we can't keep up with the growing demand. We have therefore decided to no longer sign up new users or allow any changes to our database.

If you had a junkeater account by Feb 25th, 2007 it should still be functional, however you can no longer make any changes to your account. While we regret having to take this measure it seemed to be the best solution to protect our existing users while we reconsider our options for the future.

One of these options is to sell junkeater.com. If you are interested please contact us at future (at) junkeater.com
