Good source of legal forms for webmasters?

TOS, user agreements, privacy policy

Every new website needs legal forms like TOS, user agreements, privacy policy, copyright policy, DMCA policy, etc.

Is there one place that offers these forms? Maybe a Nolo type of book that has all the forms in one place?

Of course, free or low-cost is preferred, but I'm interested in any legal resource you can think of.

Thank you in advance!

Your lawyer.

Seriously, you can get an idea of the kind of thing you may need by looking at other (large) websites, but you may leave wide gaping holes. For that reason, you should always seek professional advice for any professional matters that you want to take seriously.

The DMA has several "generators" to get you started, enter company info, answer a few questions, it will output a rough draft for you. A web search will lead you to the site. But as mentioned someone with legal experience should review it.

Thanks for the advice trillianjedi and rocknbil!

trillianjedi, we probably will eventually consult a lawyer on these matters. But just in the beginning we want to try to do as much as we can.

rocknbil, I'm going to have to confess my ignorance here. What is the DMA? Direct Marketing Association? =)
