Demographic data for tourism from Germany

Where to buy stats, in German, for tourists travelling abroad?

We are an online tour operator selling outgoing holidays to the German market.

I've been looking everywhere for demograhic data covering tourists that travel abroad from Germany. We need to learn:

- which destinations do people choose, and why
- age of people visiting our destinations
- families with how mnay kids, age, where they go
- singles and where they travel
- factors affecting holiday destination decisions
- etc etc

There is some data in English but cannot find anything published in German. We're aware this info doesn't come for free and the only report I found costs 9000 Euro! Needless to say I am looking for something cheaper.

Any Germans out there? I have searched all (?) German authorities, universities, research institutes, everywhere! But due to my limited German it is clear I won't be able to find everything. Hilfe!

The German gov will provide for FREE if you are promoting travel to Germany as well, or you can tell them you are.

Oh really? But do you know if they provide information for sale otherwise?
