Traffic up or down?

March has typically been the highest-traffic month for my site, as people get their income tax refunds and start looking for widgets to buy as luxury items.

Traffic to my site so far has been down by about 15% to 20% from where it was last year, and even down from January.

It doesn't seem to be related to any changes in Google, as my Google referals are up considerably.

Another site I manage within the same niche is also down for traffic compared to last year.

Just wondering if other niches are experiencing anything similar.
