All;

We are looking for upgrading to a managed dedicated server.

Our current provider is handling our site growth with fat bills. So.....after 8 years with the same ISP it is time for a change...

We are looking for a solution to host a site with 1-3 domain name. consumption of 100Gig/Month bandwidth and 5 Gig of diskspace

Looking for into Unix server
Budget is limited and so is the technical expertise to manage the server ourselves.

thoughts anyone?

I have no idea, but I would also like to see the answers so I am giving this a leg up.

ServerBeach for pricing that can't be beat.

I've been associated with Neospire for several years and have been thorougly pleased with their level of service.

Serverbeach are rock bottom pricing wise (I think they've got quite a queue at the moment!); i've been with their sister company Rackspace for getting on 2 years and have nothing but praise.

I think the two are fairly integrated; my account manager accidentally let slip with the wrong email address.. ;o)

I would avoid serverbeach but that is just my opinion.

Hi Marcus,

I would avoid serverbeach but that is just my opinion.

What gives you that opinion (if you don't mind me asking!)?

Hanuman, check the bottom of this page for one possibility.

I've been host-shopping, too, and one thing to check out is what kind of support each package includes. If you don't want to become a Linux expert, you'll want a host that will manage the server for you. Read the fine print, and don't hesitate to pose "what if" questions to a prospective host.
