New MySQL Box

What OS?

Just curious if there is a "better" flavor of unix for running MySQL. I am having problems with my current FreeBSD/MySQL box, and thought I might just go ahead and get a new box (for various reasons).

All my current boxes are FreeBSD, so I have some understanding of that OS. But if there is a compelling reasons for Debian, Linux or some other flavor for the OS, I might just switch OS's on the new MySQL box.

I find MySQL runs just fine on a Windows server. ;)
