Ah, forget Google.

I now want to sell stuff at eBay. However, I do not have a paypal account.

How should I receive money?

1) Get a PayPal account.
2) Accept checks (many users won't like it).
3) Go through the hassle and expense of getting your own merchant account, Internet payment gateway, etc., and make people go to a site external to eBay to complete their transaction.

My advice- #1.

Well, I have two questions on Paypal.

1. Is it sacrosanct to have a bank account in the USA to access a Paypal account?
2. I heard that we can not withdraw beyond a certain amount (say 250 USD) per month from this Paypal account?

I heard that many people in India use Western Union Money Transfer (WUMT) to receive cash sent from the western countries... but only 12 transactions in a year is allowed, which is far too less for a busy exporters!

Kindly advice.
