Recommendation for good map component

I would like to set things up so when someone clicks on the street address of one of the businesses on a client's site, they are shown a dynamically generated street map, marked with the location of the business.

Any suggestions for components I can interface to which will do this? (preferrably something which can locate global street addresses, even outside the US).

The biggest problem you'll run into is your request to work well outside the US. Many regional maps haven't been as extensively developed, so you may not be able to simply work with only one provider's API. It really depends on which countries you require. For example, Google maps in China [webmasterworld.com] show big blank areas for Hong Kong. If Hong Kong was an area you wanted to cover you might not want to use the Chinese Google maps.
