On sunday I recieved a typical paypal phishing spam message, as well as reporting it to paypal thought id let the sites web-host know to, send in a email to their support and no reply.

One day layer, I then contact the hosts server host to let them know, this server host owns their own data center, send in a support ticket, no reply.

Do these people not care about spam? in the email its self the anti abuse headers gave all the information needed to put a stop to it.

I'm just at a loss why neither the host, or server company put a stop to it one way or another.

.. rant over! ..

Are you sure you sent them the right information? They may yet take actions. It does not happen overnight.

I sent a complete copy of the email, with full headers.

My server host takes action within 12 hours judging from comments on their support forums, surprised why others ca be so relaxed about the matter, maybee i just hate spammers more

just for clarity

phishing is not spam, it's fraud

you can send it to the fbi too, i have done that before

you can send to the ISP as well

most hosts have a phone number, you could always phone them
