Where can I find more information on billing software that search engine companies are using?

I'm not sure exactly what you are looking for. Are you concerned with how they track click thrus and then bill customers like Goto.com or are you looking for info on how they track advertising based on keywords?

Either way I would imagine that they are all using their own custom scripts to meet their own unique needs.

Just wondering how these search engines managing the millions of client accounts. Are they outsourcing their billing or using shrinkwrap billing software or are they using inhouse stuff?
