Quicktime movie on webpage

I am facing problems with a quicktime movie inside a web page generated in Dreamweaver.The anoyng "click to activate and use this control" is show up on IE.DW8 solves the issue for flash movies but not for Quicktime ones. Is there any fix?

I work with a customer that regularly does video - it will be a good idea for you to move away from the QuickTime format for video. My client claims the quality is better, but the issue is one of accessibility - we have found that .mpg or .wmv will reach a much wider audience. I have had nothing but trouble trying to load QT plugins over the years, I gave up trying.

Pardon my ignorance, not having an active X movie control problem with IE 7? :-/
