Greetings,

I have been asked to create a portal for our community. There are many portal suppliers out there that are overpriced and crap.....

I have been given the green light to place adSense on every page ;) as I said this "may" cover my time etc. etc. okkkkkkk

I would like a crawleable bulletin board - I did like Infopop but they seem to have closed the doors for a revamp

I need the site to be crawlable as homeowners can put their own homes for sale on the bulletin board

There are quite a few threads about forum software [google.com]. I'm partial to vBulletin.

I've thought about doing this myself, but more geared toward HOAs. But a bit of research revealed plenty of existing solutions for HOAs. (Are they any good, though?)

I think you could more than cover your time with Adsense, as long as you do a bunch of these.

I would think this would attract some fairly high-value advertising - financing, real-estate brokers, remodelling, services, etc.
