Remotely Hosted Images and Bandwidth

I have a blog with lots of pictures. Some are stored on my webserver and others are remotely hosted on flickr.

Can I save bandwidth by remotely hosting more of my images?

This month it looks like I'll be getting close to my plan's bandwidth limit. I'd like to hear your advice.

Yes you save bandwidth this way. I'm not sure whether or not it's within flickr's terms of service though but that's none of my business ;)
