Why not just set your email client to keep copies of the sent emails in your Sent folder?

I know some people like to keep copies of sent messages elsewhere as an audit tool, a gmail account or the like...

Our corporate mail server strips out all folders every 90 days so I often BCC myself at home on emails and replies for CYA purposes...
